Position: SAP BW Developer

Description:
Our client is seeking SAP BW Developer candidates near Los Angeles, CA with the right skills to design complex custom BW solutions translating complex requirements in an optimal BW design while adhering to good systems development methodology. Candidates are also expected to prepare project related documentation (functional design, technical design, test scripts, etc.). Candidate should be US Citizen or GC holder as we cannot sponsor H1 visas at this time due to urgent client requirements. Local candidate preferred (Region: Los Angeles, CA), no relocation assistance is available for this position.

Responsibilities:
- Key role in the analysis, design, development and testing of SAP Business Warehouse as well as front end reports and dashboards across multiple integrated actionable data sources to run the business more effectively.
- Working within the business and other team members to build requirements and design functional specifications for the data warehouse and front end dashboard and reports. Maintain a clear understanding of the potential impacts of proposed solutions on the other areas of the system and/or project.
- Translate functional specifications into technical specifications and ensure a comprehensive data warehouse design.
- Configure and code the data warehouse and front end dashboards and reports.
- Develop and execute unit testing for all developed objects including testing documentation and validation. Assists in system test, performance test and other user tests are needed.
- Provide ongoing support of the existing BO Reporting, Data Services and BW systems.
- Resolve coding, configuration, security, performance and data issues in a timely fashion.
- Develops and maintains accurate documentation and meta data for the data warehouse.

Requirements:
- At least 8 years of solid SAP BW programming and analysis experience
- Proven experience with SAP BI tools for front end deployment.
- Proven knowledge of best practices in programming to enhance system performance.
- Thorough knowledge of BW Data modeling concepts like star and extended star schemas
- SAP technical certifications a plus
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- The ability to develop and drive the implementation of BW best practices and standards
- Experience with BW administrator Workbench, BW Info Objects, ODS, Info Cubes, Info Packages, Info Sources

Position: SAP Architect with BW/HANA Admin Experience

Description:
We are looking for an experienced candidate to work with our client who has a need for strong SAP BW/HANA expertise. Our client would like the selected candidate to have hands-on HANA migration experience. Experience with smart forms and HANA views, classic views, Crystal Reports is preferred. Candidate must also have previous experience with BW/HANA Administration. Candidate should be US Citizen or GC holder as we cannot sponsor H1 visas at this time due to urgent client requirements. Local candidate preferred, no relocation assistance is available for this position.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of technology-enabled business solutions for clients as a team lead or Project Manager
- Lead the vision, blueprinting and build activities for implementation from project initiation to project closeout
- Prepare design documents and work task plans
- Create functional requirements
- Review and understand business requirements and convert into technical specifications in order to define the overall application development
- Design, document, and develop business processes design
- Collaborate with solution architects on architecture design
- Provides technical sales support for assigned opportunities. Collaborates with sales team to clearly communicate
- An expert in Subject Area (Planning, Budgeting, Consolidations and /or Reporting)
- SAP EPM capabilities with the ability to provide technology and specific advantages or weaknesses

Requirements:
- SAP technical proficiency with at least 8+ full lifecycle SAP implementations and 5+ years of industry and/or consulting experience developing and delivering SAP based solutions, such as: SAP BW, SAP HANA, SAP BOBJ, SAP EPM
- Exceptional understanding of Finance strategy and operations within targeted industries and consulting service lines
- Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills
- The ability to effectively operate independently and in a team environment
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills including presentation skills (MS PowerPoint, Visio) and oral presentation skills including presentation and facilitation
- An MBA or other relevant advanced degree is preferred, but not required.

Position: Lead Developer

Description: Key/lead developer in building a sizeable business application.
Hands-on coding with C# and SQL, preferably within Visual Studio environment.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in developing multi-tiered solutions using .NET.
5+ years in T-SQL Development used in LOB/Corporate applications
3+ years of experience working on complex Silverlight applications utilizing MVVM pattern.
Knowledge of Data Modeling principles and RDMS logical and physical concepts.
Experience working with a code base in a team setting
3+ years experience with TFS and Visual Studio 2012

Enthusiastic work ethic plus a strong interest in learning new products and new business domain, especially if background is different from that of the client's business.  Strong oral and written communication skills, and good meeting participation skills.

Additional qualifications sought but not required:
Experience with insurance underwriting applications.
Familiar with the reinsurance business domain.
Experience with Web API.
Experience with Microsoft Service Bus.
Experience with Microsoft SharePoint integration and programming.
